The Nursing and Midwifery Council held a day's workshop to validate the draft student handbook for nursing and midwifery training institutions.

Representatives of the Council, Reps of the Ghana Nurses and Midwives Trainee Association (GNMTA), Nurses Education Group (NEG), Conference of heads of health training institutions (COHHETI) and Health Training Institution Unions (HTIU) were present to deliberate and contribute to the validation of the document. 

The Registrar of Nursing and Midwifery Council, Mr. Felix Nyante informed stakeholders that the purpose of the workshop was to discuss the content of the document so as to come out with a comprehensive handbook.
